The Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award 2019 is open! Our two amazing judges, Raymond Antrobus and Jackie Kay cannot wait to read your poems.

To enter the competition you must be aged 11-17 years on the date of the deadline, 31 July 2019. You can enter your poem/s simply by visiting the foyleyoungpoets.org website or by post by sending your entry form and your poems to The Poetry Society using the following address: FYP2019, The Poetry Society, London, WC2H 9BX.
If you are a school, youth group or an adult that would like to submit more than one young person then you can enter your students’/young person’s work online using our quick and easy class entry form, or send them in by post. Please see our website, www.foyleyoungpoets.org, for details and the competition rules.

It is completely FREE to enter. Poems must be in English or in BSL (do contact if you have queries regarding any BSL entries).
