African Writers Evening

with Ken Kamoche (Kenya), Casey Abaraonye (Nigeria) and Sade Adeniran (Nigeria), who will be reading extracts from her self published novel at the Poetry Cafe. "Imagine This" is a perceptive account of a young girls journey from childhood to adulthood and wisdom. Thrust into an alien culture, Lola Ogunwole must prevail against all odds, because she realises, that no matter how dark the night, the day is sure to come.
 
The event starts at 7:30, however Sade will be there to sign copies beforehand. Free
 
Sade started her writing career with BBC Radio 4. She works and lives in London. Imagine This is her first novel.
