Heidi Williamson wins East Anglian Poetry Book of the Year

The Print Museum by Poetry Society Member Heidi Williamson (Bloodaxe) has won the coveted East Anglian Poetry Book of the Year award, judged by Briony Bax. The winner was revealed at an awards evening and celebration of regional writing and publishing held on 3 November at Jarrold, Norwich.

Heidi also runs Poetry Surgeries via Skype on behalf of The Poetry Society – feedback on your poems-in-progress. Her first collection Electric Shadow (Bloodaxe, 2011) was a Poetry Book Society Recommendation and shortlisted for the Seamus Heaney Centre Prize for Poetry.
