Feedback from Judy’s previous sessions
“Judy was great. She was positive, enthusiastic about what she thought was good. She gave what I thought was an accurate critique of the weaknesses in my poems and some very helpful comments about what I could do to correct them.” – K.S, Salford
“This was a very useful session. Judy was very encouraging about the poems but also gave some good editing advice. I thought it was a great service to offer as, for new writers, it can be very difficult to know where to get an independent opinion on your work.” – T.K, Derbyshire
“I would like to thank the Poetry Society and Judy Brown for an excellent poetry surgery in Derby. It was stimulating and very reassuring, and Judy was most generous with her time. In addition to acquiring many helpful tips for my own work, I enjoyed meeting a poet whose work I had read and liked. It was a most encouraging experience, and one I would recommend to others.” – G.R, Derbyshire
