NEXT: WED 28 MARCH – Eglwys Gymyn, near Red Roses, Carmarthenshire (we’ll send you the full location details when you book).
[If no available dates are showing contact Paul McGrane on 020 7420 9881 and he can check if Helen can do an ad-hoc date for you.]
£20 for Poetry Society members, £30 for non-members. Click on the link to book or call Paul McGrane on 020 7420 9881. Once your session is booked, you will be asked to send up to 6 poems, or 150 lines maximum, in advance, so that Helen has sufficient time to read your poems beforehand.
This is a wonderful opportunity to discuss your poetry on a one-to-one basis with poet and tutor Helen May Williams, who offers a relaxed but in-depth analysis of your poems. Identify strategies for further developing your writing, discuss problems you may be experiencing and look at strategies for taking your work forward. There will be plenty of time to talk about all those things you need to know about writing, revising and submitting your work.
Helen May Williams is a poet and author, living in West Wales. She has written extensively on twentieth-century poetry and formerly taught at the University of Warwick. Her poetry book, The Princess of Vix is published by Three Drops Press.
