This is the London launch of Rosemary McLeish’s debut full collection I Am A Field (Wordsmithery 2019). Rosemary won 2nd prize in the MsLexia/Poetry Book Society women’s poetry competition 2018 with Red Rebecca. “I love the salty relish and brio of this poem and its narrative quality” – Carol Ann Duffy. “…The collection as a whole remains cohesive and and utterly compelling” – Joy Howard (Grey Hen Press). She was nominated for the Pushcart Prize 2018, shortlisted in the Bedford Writing Competition 2019, and shortlisted in the SaveAs writers international writing competition 2017. Her work has appeared in many publications including, Confluence, Strix, Anti Heroin Chic, and The Writer’s Café. The reading will also feature special guest poets. No open mic at this event.
