The Taqasim Oud Club is an open-mic poetry and music event where amateurs and professionals are invited to share their material with fellow Taqasim Music School students and the general public.
The first half of the night will run as an Open-mic while the second half will be a performance of Iranian music and poetry. The performance will consist of a oud musician, a “ney” (reed flute) musician, a vocalist who will sing in both Arabic and Persian and a reciter of Persian poetry.
We are unable to guarantee that the event will not have sensitive and/or explicit content. Our event is an open-mic where poets and writers are welcome to share their work. Some material shared may include sensitive and/or explicit material.
