NaPoWriMo 2021 with The Poetry Society

NaPoWriMo, or National Poetry Writing Month, is a creative writing project held every April, originally set up by poet and publisher Maureen Thorson in 2003. NaPoWriMo invites poets to write a poem a day for the duration of April, coinciding with National Poetry Month in the US and Canada.

To mark the occasion, The Poetry Society will be posting daily prompts on its social media channel Twitter, so any poets who would like to take part in the annual writing challenge can look out for prompts driven by poems from The Poetry Society’s archive, including work from The Poetry Society’s journal The Poetry Review.
