Success for The Poetry Review and Poetry News in Forward Prize nominations

Maura Dooley and Kim Moore have been nominated in the The Forward Prize Best Single Poem category for poems that appeared in The Poetry Society’s The Poetry Review and Poetry News respectively. Maura’s poem ‘Cleaning Jim Dine’s Heart’ first appeared in the autumn 2014 issue of The Poetry Review. Kim’s poem ‘In That Year’ was a winner of the summer 2014 Poetry News Members’ Poems competition on the theme of ‘Loss’.

Maura and Kim are Poetry Society Members and there was further success for Members Andrew McMillan and Karen McCarthy Woolf in the Best First Collection category and Ann Gray in the Best Single Poem category.
