a vision

Maggie Wang

A Vision / wealth is an object outside us, a thing that makes no difference, subsistence is the work of history, air, iron, corn, diamond, are things independent of us. they become a reality only by use or consumption: whatever we are, is a gift of time and place, accidental and purely relative, each of us is equal (=). what does this tell us? that there exists a world more just towards which we can aspire. (source text: Karl Marx, Das Kapital). This erasure poem is has been digitally blacked out, leaving these words, and decorated in simple digital line drawings of hands and flowers in yellow, green and white.
